This service provides a trained and accredited therapy dog, "Buckets". The presence of a therapy dog can provide emotional support, reduce anxiety, and create a calming environment for children and families.
Key Features:
Informed Consent: It is essential to obtain client consent before incorporating the therapy dog into mental health sessions. This ensures clients are comfortable with the presence of the animal and are aware of the potential benefits and considerations involved in Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT). Please fill in the consent form before attending your first appointment.
Breed: Our therapy dog, "Buckets" is a golden retriever. She is a large sized dog, but very much a gentle giant :)
